[ Photo Left: Map of Nigeria ]
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar wants the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Maurice Iwu, to provide answers to these questions, at the Presidential election Petitions Tribunal. They are: 1. Did you award a fresh contract for printing of ballot papers for the presidential election, less than 5 days to the date of the election? 2. If, yes, did you not award the said contract to a company in South Africa after the company originally contracted, declined on the ground that the delivery deadline was unrealistic if the ballots must carry serial numbers, and in booklet forms with counterfeits? 3. If you deny that..........    More

Saddam did not believe such strategy would draw the wrath of the U.S. with an invasion for his disarmament. He concealed the fact that he didn't have WMD to prevent an Iranian invasion. Eventually the perceived threat of a nuclear armed Iraq led to the invasion by the U.S. and Britain in 2003. Saddam was captured, tried and hung for crimes against humanity and not for possession of WMD as none was found. FBI agent George Piro, a Lebanese-American and one of...........    More

"Educated" to Feel Inferior: "Will Africa ever Catch Up?"

Dr. Bedford Nwabueze Umez In this paper, I will briefly explain the relationship between development and liberated mind. Specifically, I will explain (a) how most of us, the Africans, were "educated" to feel inferior, (b) the terrible consequences of inferiority complex, i.e., low self-esteem, in Africa, especially in Nigeria, and (c) then present the ONLY powerful solution to revert this inferiority complex so that Africa can meaningfully grow and develop.    More.....

    Quotes
"Let the guns implode, the wooden barrels decompose to fertilize a vibrant agriculture, and the metallic barrels and structures melted for industrialization. Let the ensuing abundance fill up the greedy and the rest of society for the complete healing of Africa."

    .......Chief Charles O. Okereke

Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking form the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline.

    .......Martin L. King Junior

It'll be the ballot or it'll be the bullet. It'll be liberty or it'll be death. And if your not ready to pay that price, don't use the word freedom in your vocabulary.
