Undefeated young southpaw NABO jr lightweight champion, Daniel "The Prophet" Attah (18-0-1) with 8KO's now promoted by M&M Sports Inc is the WBO number-one world rated jr lightweight contender and 1996 Olympic representative for Nigeria. Daniel had several impressive wins and has broken into world ratings.
Attah was originally scheduled to fight an elimination bout April 7, against a tough top ranked contender and WBO Latin American champion, Ariel Nistal of Sante Fe, Argentina, with(23-2-4) 12KO's. This showdown has been rescheduled, the new date for the bout is April 21, in Argentina.
In Attah's last fight on December 29, 2000 in Chester, WV, he scored an 8 round deceision against Keylang Umana of Nicaragua.

The Nigerian southpaw champion, is expected to have a press conference at the Nigerian Consulate in New York, NY, U.S.A., in April. This was confirmed by the matchmaker for M&M Sports, Mr. Sampson Lewkowicz. The company hopes to set up the championship fight for Attah in Nigeria, once Attah beats Nistal. Nigerians all over the United States and boxing fans are expected to attend this historic occassion. M&M Sports is open for discussion about televising the April 21 fight live in Nigeria.
This event would give native Africans an opportunity to witness a potential world champion.
