Miss Asia Pacific Quest last year expanded its operations and went beyond its traditional boundaries under the new title "Miss Asia Pacific International". Nigeria and many other countries were allowed to participate in the pageant. Nigeria Masterweb represents Nigeria in the newly expanded contest as national organizer. Miss Awa Dicko the currrent Miss Masterweb represented Nigeria in the 36th edition of the pageant held in Guangzhou, China last year.

In late July 2007, Masterweb and other world Internet big names were nominated for the BlackWebAward. This triggered a competition that required people to vote for their favourite sites.
