Thanks to your site, I was able to find out info. on a scam that someone was trying to get me with. A girl that I had talked to for a while on yahoo told me that her father was from Nigeria and her Mom was from Marieta GA,USA and both parents were dead and that she had to go to Nigeria to take over her late fathers travel agency and his convienent store. Later she asked me if I could send her 30 U.S. Money orders for 1$ each. I was able to find out that part of the scam, but the 2nd part kinda confuses me. She said she had clients that owed her money $5000 and she wanted to direct them to send it to me by western union and cash the money orders at my bank. Then she said that after I got the money she wanted me to book her a hotel for 2 weeks in the town that I live in and hold the rest of the money until she got here. She also was asking for my address and wanted to know what bank I used. But each time she asked I just changed the subject and she was making it sound like I was the reason that she was coming here was to see me and that she was going to get an appartment here and stay for 2 years. But I knew all of this was really weird so I didnt do any of it. I just said that I would see what I could do. Since then I havnt spoken to her and that was 2 days ago. So if anyone reads this and knows what kind of scam this is I would really like to know.
