With heavy hearts, but in total reverence to God, we announce the passing to glory of a rare and affable gem, a dear husband, our dear father, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and friend. Obi passed away on 8th of October 2004 after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Dana Faber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA. Obi was an alumnus of Government College Umuahia, University of Ibadan and the Harvard University School of Public Health. He was the CEO of BMH Consult, Lagos, Nigeria. Obi who hails from Umuabali, Umuahia, in Abia State, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Winnie Eluwa (nee Obaze) Adaugo Eluwa, Biyerem Eluwa III, Somto Eluwa (children), Nne Ora Mercy O. Eluwa (mother), Achanma Eluwa, Onu Eluwa, Nzekwe Eluwa and Ukachi Eluwa (siblings) and many dear relatives, and friends. He will be sorely missed. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Him, O Lord. And Let Perpetual Light Shine on Him. Amen.
